13 new projects to boost awareness of the value of IP and the negative effects of IPR infringement

The European Union Intellectual Property Office-EUIPO has finally published results of the Call for proposals GR/001/19 of the last June 2019. From 41 applications received, the Office has funded 13 new projects to boost awareness of the value of IP and the negative effects of IPR infringement, with a overall contribution reaching almost EUR 1 milion.

Awarded projects are addressing two lots:

– Lot 1: Reaching children and teachers/future teachers through educational activities in academic and non-academic learning environments. 7 projects are awarded on this line.

– Lot 2: Reaching consumers/citizens and especially young people. 6 projects are awarded on this line.

Among the awarded projects, 5 are from Italy: IP experience is one of them and addresses Lot 2!
