The Italian Patent and Trademark Office has just published the annual statistical report on patent applications filings, trademarks and designs registrations for the 2019 year.
In 2019 the number of patent applications has exceeded 10 thousand filings (10.127) for the first time, confirming an increasing trend over the last years. Moreover, the number of European Patent applications validated in Italy has reached 44.500 units with a growth more than 5% respect the 2018 . Finally, trademarks registrations for 2019 have achieved almost 59 thousand units (58.831).
